Chapter 16
“Roscoe, we need to talk!” Monica yelled from the bathroom.
She had just finished using the bathroom, and the smell was horrible. Monica wasn’t the cleanest spoon in the drawer, but she knew that something was wrong for her to be smelling like a fish market. When she wiped, thick clumps of yellow stuff would be on the tissue. The only person she had been sleeping with was Roscoe, and she knew that Stephon didn’t give her anything, because they both went to go get tested when they first started dating.
“About what?” Roscoe asked dryly as he looked through his phone.
Monica walked into the bedroom with her legs spread apart. She couldn’t walk straight because her vagina was swollen and it was sore.
“Roscoe, something isn’t right. For the last few days, whenever I go to pee it burns, and I have this foul smell down there,” Monica explained.
Roscoe was too busy texting Shateria while Monica stood there in pain. He was wondering when she was going to finally admit that she had a smell, because he was getting tired of her fronting like she didn’t.
“So what do you want me to do? You always had a funny smell down there, so why you acting concerned all of a sudden,” Roscoe said rudely,
“Can you please just look down there and tell me what you see?” Monica asked as she lay down on the bed and opened her legs as wide as she could.
Roscoe frowned as he put his hand over his nose. The sight of Monica’s pussy made him feel sick, and she could tell that it was bad, just by his facial expression.
“Yo, you need to go to the hospital, that shit look nasty. All puffed up and shit,” Roscoe stated seriously.
Before Monica could respond, she heard loud banging on the door. She and Roscoe thought it was the police, so they both jumped up. Monica tied the front of her housecoat and went downstairs as quick as she could. Roscoe was right behind her when she opened the door, and there stood an angry Stephon. The rage in his eyes frightened her, and she took a step back.
“Stephon what…” were the only words she got out, before he began choking her.
“Bitch, you gave me herpes!” he shouted.
Stephon saw red as he let go of Monica, and raised his fist up to punch her. Stephon was taught to never put his hands on a woman, but Monica was a bitch in his eyes. He didn’t even care that the doctor said that it was a possibility that he could have an STD. All he heard was the word herpes.
“Stephon, wait!” Monica stopped him.
“What bitch? What the fuck do you have to say?” Stephon asked.
Monica looked at Roscoe, who was just standing there watching everything go down. He wasn’t bothered by what Stephon had just said, and that could only mean one thing. She didn’t want to assume, but one thing for sure was that Stephon was a good guy; out of the two years they’d been together, the only guy she ever been with besides him was Roscoe.
